New Officials Class Registration

The Hampton Roads Basketball Officials Association, Inc. (HRBOA); IAABO Board 94, trains and prepares those desiring to officiate the game of basketball for the Virginia High School League (VHSL) in the Southside Hampton Roads area (Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach). Who should register:

New Officials: Individuals joining HRBOA for the first time.

Transferring Officials: Individuals who were members in good standing with another basketball officials association. Transferring officials may receive an abbreviated curriculum during the HRBOA Class based on the evaluation of the HRBOA Rules Interpreter and Commissioner.

Requirements: Completion of the below Registration Form. After successful completion of the class, new/transferring officials will be required to make written application to the HRBOA Secretary followed by the payment of all dues, fees and other assessments annually paid by all HRBOA active members.
