  • August 11-13, 2023 – HRBOA Officials Camp at Virginia Wesleyan University.
  • October 2023 – Basketball Open Test Date Starts
  • November 2023 – Winter Rules Clinic,
  • November 2023 – Deadline for completion of the Basketball Officials Exam
  • November 2023 – Season Starts


     2023 - 2024 HRBOA Meeting Schedule

      **In-Person Meetings

       ++ ZOOM Meetings


  • **October 16th at Norfolk Academy in the Auditorium  - This will be our first pre-season organizational meeting and it shall be conducted in-person.  This meeting will review new policies and procedures and expectations for the coming season in reference to VHSL requirements.  The remainder of the meetings will focus on instruction and correcting any issues we may be having on the court during the season.  
    •    Rules books distribution shall only be during the in-person meetings.  Get your uniform items in order, it won’t be long before the season starts.


  • **November 13, 2023 – Organizational Meeting - Board Clinic at the  Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, at 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • ++December 11, 2023 – Organizational Meeting - ZOOM
  • ++January 21, 2024 – Organizational Meeting - ZOOM
  • **March xx, 2024 – Organizational Meeting - Closeout

  • March 2024 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships at the Siegel Center, Richmond, Virginia.
