• July 7, 2025 - VHSL Basketball Officials Registration Opens
  • September 12-14, 2025 – HRBOA Officials Camp at Virginia Wesleyan University.
  • October 20, 2025 – Basketball Open Test Date Starts
  • November 3, 2025 – Winter Rules Clinic Start Date
  • November 24, 2025 – Deadline for completion of the Basketball Officials Clinic and Exam
  • December 1, 2025 – Season Starts


     2025 - 2026 HRBOA Meeting Schedule

      **In-Person Meetings

       ++ ZOOM Meetings


  • **October 14, 2025 in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, at 6:00pm to 7:30pm  - This will be our first pre-season organizational meeting and it shall be conducted in-person.  This meeting will review new policies and procedures and expectations for the coming season in reference to VHSL requirements.  The remainder of the meetings will focus on instruction and correcting any issues we may be having on the court during the season.  
    •    Rules books distribution shall only be during the in-person meetings.  Get your uniform items in order, it won’t be long before the season starts.


  • **November 10, 2025 – Organizational Meeting - Board Clinic in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • **December 8, 2025 – Organizational Meeting - Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, 6:00pm to 7:30pm
  • ++January, 2026 – Organizational Meeting - ZOOM
  • **March, 2026 – Closeout Meeting for first through 5th year officials in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, at 6:00pm to 7:30pm

  • February 20, 2026 - Regional Competition Starts


  • March 3, 2026 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships - Quarterfinals; Location of games are TBD


  • March 6, 2026 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships - Semi-Finals


  • March 12-14, 2026 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships at the Siegel Center, Richmond, Virginia.


  • September 11 - 14, 2025 –HRBOA Officials Camp at Virginia Wesleyan University.
