  • September 13-15, 2024 – HRBOA Officials Camp at Virginia Wesleyan University.
  • October 21, 2024 – Basketball Open Test Date Starts
  • November 2024 – Winter Rules Clinic,
  • November 26, 2024 – Deadline for completion of the Basketball Officials Exam
  • December 2, 2024 – Season Starts


     2024 - 2025 HRBOA Meeting Schedule

      **In-Person Meetings

  • **October 15, 2024 in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, at 6:00pm to 7:30pm  - This will be our first pre-season organizational meeting and it shall be conducted in-person.  This meeting will review new policies and procedures and expectations for the coming season in reference to VHSL requirements.  The remainder of the meetings will focus on instruction and correcting any issues we may be having on the court during the season.  
    •    Rules books distribution shall only be during the in-person meetings.  Get your uniform items in order, it won’t be long before the season starts.


  • **October 28, 2024 – Organizational Meeting - Board Clinic in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • **December 9, 2024 – Organizational Meeting - Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, 6:00pm to 7:30pm
  • ++January, 2025 – Organizational Meeting - ZOOM
  • **March, 2025 – Closeout Meeting for first through 5th year officials in the Auditorium at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, at 6:30pm to 7:30pm

  • February 21, 2025 - Regional Competition Starts


  • March 4, 2025 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships - Quarterfinals; Location of games are TBD


  • March 7, 2025 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships - Semi-Finals


  • March 13-15, 2025 – VHSL Boys & Girls Basketball Championships at the Siegel Center, Richmond, Virginia.


  • September 13 - 15, 2024 –HRBOA Officials Camp at Virginia Wesleyan University.
